Continuing Series in the Life of a Pastoral Care Pastor

May 7, 2010, – Friday: I surprised my alarm clock today by getting up before her…threw her whole routine out of wack…My golfing buddy and I were leaving quite early to travel to a new golf course to play golf today. It was about a 2 hour drive but if was great and challenging. We played 36 holes and I did better on the second 18 than the first 18. Maybe it was because I had to handle some calls from the church…emergency type as the receptionist knows I only handle that type on my day off. Anyway was able to return some phone calls and get those taken care of as we played along…I am happy to blame that on the way I played so poorly the first 18…but it probably was not the only reason dah… Anyway had a great relaxing day.
