Continuing Series in the Life of a Pastoral Care Pastor

May 14, 2010, – Friday: Try to play golf on Friday’s and today was just right as two friends from church and I played 18 holes at Brambleton Golf Club. Weather was great and I shot very good, had a few bad holes but overall shot very well. Had to take several phone calls from church but nothing I couldn’t handle over the phone. Our youngest granddaughter was coming home from Space Camp and we wanted to meet her at the airport and the plane kept getting delayed so we had dinner and I bought some communion juice as we are having full communion this Sunday. After delivering it to the church we came back home and waited until the plane arrived. It was nice seeing her and hearing some stories of her adventure…the plane arrived late but it was worth it to see her once again…
