June 21, 2010, – Monday: It has been an interesting week since my last entry. I have been busy in a good way. Had the chance to pray with several people in my office over issues concerning family issues. Seems we are allowing the devil to get a foothold in our lives and he wrecks havoc everywhere he goes. On Wednesday evening during our weekly prayer class we had some great ministry time after the meeting ended. Actually didn’t get home until almost 11…meeting ended at 9. The Holy Spirit is working to set our people free of some past issues and sins. He is an excellent surgeon and always a kind and gentle person. Played some golf on Friday at the new 1757 course just up from the church and it was very hard…had to hit the ball straight and stay in the fairways…but of course yours truly played all over the course and suffered the penalty. But a bad day on the course is always better than work…I think. I had a great Fathers Day… got calls from my two children and had a very nice day with my biggest supporter, Jeanette. She cooked me my favorite meal…ahh it was good.
Books Currently Reading: I am currently reading, 2012 The Bible and the End of the World by Mark Hitchcock; Sheep in Wolves Clothing by Valerie J. McIntyre
Current Bible Readings / Studies: I am currently reading and doing some studying in the 1st and 2nd Timothy. Paul is encouraging his young protégé to stay focused on what God has called you and live out the calling placed upon you with the laying on of hands.
Devotions: Still currently reading through the bible with a program that chronologically lays out the scriptures in the sequence they occurred or more likely to have occurred.
